Wakeshima Kanon And An Cafe's Kanon Team Up For Shiki Theme Song

Famous japanese cellist and vocalist Wakeshima Kanon is pairing up with An Cafe´s bassist Kanon to sing the second opening theme song for the horror animation Shiki, called カレンデュラレクイエム - Calendula Requiem.
Wakeshima wrote at her official site, that she was happily surprised by the offer, since Shiki was an anime she recently has watched.

The song will debut as the opening theme song on the 14th of October, with Buck-Tick's Gekki Reijin as new ending theme song for the anime. Calendula Requiem will be released as a single on 17th of November, along with additional tracks like ザ ドールハウス - The Dollhouse and ウミガメスープ - Sea Turtle Soup.

Wakeshima Kanon released her second album, Shōjojikake no Libretto ~Lolitawork Libretto in July 2010. An Cafe's Kanon had been working as a member of the band until early 2010, when An Cafe went on hiatus.

Miyavi Collaborates With Good Charlotte

Miyavi is making a guest appearance on a song by American pop-punk band Good Charlotte, it has been learned. The song is "Like It's Her Birthday" from the band's upcoming album "Cardiology," which goes on sale in Japan on October 27, ahead of the U.S. release. On September 7, the song will be available as a digital single in Japan.

Good Charlotte apparently has a lot of respect for Japan, so they were looking for a cool artist to collaborate with. Their record label's staff recommended Miyavi after seeing his concert in New York, so the band's members watched his concert videos and went to a live performance. They decided to go forward with the collaboration, and on August 26, Good Charlotte and Miyavi met in person for the first time in Tokyo.

Miyavi remarked that he was initially offered just to do a solo part, but he ultimately ended up doing the whole song. He also expressed his desire to work with Good Charlotte again, if an opportunity arises.

Details of Miyavi's new album "WHAT'S MY NAME?" were also revealed on Friday.

Quruli will be holding a premium live for purchasers of their new album ｢言葉にならない、笑顔を見せてくれよ」 - show me a smile that can't be spoken, release date on september the 8th.

Connected with the album title, the concert was planned as a modest gift from Quruli to get a bright smile of the fans who buy the album. The concert will be held on the day of the album's release, September 8th, at Tower Records' Shinjuku store's rooftop space, and again on the 15th of September at Tower Records' Shibuya store.

Participation will be decided by lottery. Purchasers of the album from participating stores will each receive one lottery ticket, and those who receive a winning ticket will get a ticket to the concert.

2NE1 are finally coming back to the K-Pop World after a long break of fourteen months and are currently in the midst of filming of their Comeback MV Go Away!
2NE1´s first full-length album will be released on september 9th and according to a YG representative on 30th August, one of the triple title song to the album will be Go Away.
It has also been revealed that leader CL will act as a car racer in the new MV.
CL stated:

Rumours about Vivian Hsu and Stephen Fung dating have been rife since the latter broke up with girlfriend Karen Mok two years. Despite their denial, the two stars were caught in a rendezvous in Tokyo, Japan.

Vivian was in Tokyo on Sunday (Aug 15) to attend a product endorsement event and stayed at Ritz Carlton hotel.

Stephen arrived in Tokyo two days afterwards and was seen checking into the Ritz Carlton too.

In the days that followed, the two stars were extremely cautious and were never seen together until Saturday, when reporters caught them leaving the hotel together.

Stephen appeared furious but Vivian was calm, saying, \\\"Please give us the time and space we need!\\\"

When reporters asked Vivian if she was worried about their relationship, Stephen immediately butted in, asking \\\"What relationship? What are you talking about?\\\"

Immediately on the night after the exposé, Stephen posted pictures on his Weibo, claiming that he was in Tokyo to check out locations for his new movie and nothing else.
