I'd like to know what members want to get from this site. In what ways could the site be improved to increase user activity?

---> First off I think the point system should remain in effect forever! Just to weed out those who want to use this site for downloads and not give a darn about being a part of the community.

---> I think the site should be fundamentally changed. In that you go to aznsource.com and arrive at the homepage which would have some nice little buttons saying, "Download forums" and the other saying "Socialization forums." It is some work but is totally doable by the awesome staff!(just an idea, could be elaborated on)

---> Continuing with the above point, one can get to either section of the site and not be bothered with what is on the other side. So if you are at the Social part you won't be bothered with "DOWNLOAD HERE" and you can go on and make bestest friends with people.

It isn't much but my two cents is better than no cents at all. So yeah.

EDIT: Also in some parts of the site it has the stuff people need to know as far as rules for downloading and stuff, yeah that is kinda evil looking. Like "hey this seems like a swell site! Wait...they have rules everywhere I look, probably a bunch of mean people!" Just a thought. :o

Omg...Shenlong I be!

Thanks for your comments. While splitting the download and socialization sections aren't a bad idea, it isn't going to work very well with the current layout unless by "socialization" you mean general discussion. While some users won't care too much about downloads, the other users who do would need to find the discussion topics to earn points should the points system come back. There are rules posted everywhere because users just don't want to read before posting. I can't tell you how many times users post either "thanks" or random stuff to access the download links when you only need to click on the Thanks button and have sufficient points. We could try moving the rules to a centralized location.

I can see what you mean. *nods*

I guess it would be something to consider if you threw out the points system entirely.

As for the rules, I guess it can't be helped since a lot of people don't like to read and just jump into the mix of things(I am that way sometimes).

Also, maybe you should take out that little Playlist thing, it really doesn't have a lot of songs so it kinda pointless at this point in time. If you expand on it then it would be a nifty little thing but at this point really it doesn't appeal to anyone. I was explained of how you maintain it and it really does seem like too much of a hassle. :/
